Thank you for your interest and willingness to share your expertise with our audience at the 2025 National Child Nutrition Conference in Dallas! We’ve put together some guidelines and key dates for our presenters leading up to the conference.

Benefits of Presenting at NCNC
- Presenting at #NCNC25 provides an opportunity to build your network and create connections within the child nutrition community.
- Sharing your strategies, tools, and ideas with attendees helps make the food program easier to operate.

Key Dates
August 8, 2024: Free Webinar | Secrets to Success: How to Be a Presenter at NCNC25
September 5, 2024: Early decision deadline, presentation proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis after this date until our program is full
October 1, 2024: Completed presenter agreement due for inclusion in the conference brochure
December 5, 2024: Deadline for Advance Registration rate to attend the conference
February 2025: Presenters notified of presentation date & time
March 14, 2025: Presentations and handouts due for review
April 14 – 18, 2025: National Child Nutrition Conference in Dallas, TX
Conference Registration
Presenters are not required to register for the National Child Nutrition Conference unless they plan to attend any sessions/events other than their presentation during the conference or visit the exhibit hall.
Hotel/Travel
All presenters are responsible for making and paying for their own hotel and travel expenses. The link for the discounted block of rooms at the Hilton Anatole will be sent to the email provided once registered.
PowerPoint
All presenters will be given a PowerPoint template to use for the presentation. The title slide, presenter slide, attendee library slide, and evaluation slide are required for your presentation. The inside pages are recommended. The presentation slides will be made available to attendees as a PDF in the attendee library.
PowerPoint Best Practices
- Keep text on page simple and short
- Include images appropriately
- Proofread and spellcheck your presentation
- Avoid product logos or branding
- Embed any videos in your presentation
Handouts
Presenters are asked to submit an electronic copy of their handouts in PDF form by March 14, 2025 for publishing in the attendee library. Presenters are responsible for printing and providing enough handouts if they would like to provide physical copies to attendees.
Audio-Visual
Presenters will be offered standard audio-visual support which will include a podium, microphone, projector, screen, a laptop preloaded with your NCA approved PowerPoint, and HDMI cord. Your NCA-approved presentation will be preloaded on a laptop in your assigned workshop room. No changes or updates are able to be made to your presentation after the March 14, 2025 deadline.
Wireless internet will be available to all presenters and attendees. Please have a contingency plan in place if there is an unexpected technology issue. We recommend embedding any links or videos into your presentation.
Yapp App
We encourage all presenters to add themselves as an attendee in the Yapp App with their contact information. By doing so, conference attendees can easily reach out to you with questions about your presentation.
