2025 National Child Nutrition Conference Awards CPEUs in Accordance with the commission on Dietetic Registration’s CPEU Prior Approval Program

April 16, 2025

CDR Interior 2025

The 39th Annual National Child Nutrition Conference awards 27 CPEUs in accordance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration’s CPEU Prior Approval Program.

Attendees can earn up to 16.5 hours of accredited Continuing Professional Education Units (CPEUs) from attending live sessions included in conference registration. They can also earn up extra hours of CPEUs by adding on preconference and postconference academies.

Please note, virtual sessions must be watched live in order to earn the CPEUs. These sessions are marked in orange. Attendees of the virtual option can earn up to 9 CPEUs.

Why is this important?

A registered dietitian needs 75 CPEUs completed every five years. By attending the National Child Nutrition Conference, you can earn over a third of those credits over the course of five days.

What about other CEUs?

Attending the conference onsite provides the opportunity to earn 36+ hours of Continuing Education, while virtual attendees can earn up to 18.5 CEUs. These can be applied towards our Certification Program. Many other programs that require continuing education also accept the training from the conference, but you will need to confirm with those programs.
