Time to Reflect: Share Your Story

December 16, 2024

Story Time_4x3

The new year is just around the corner, which means this is the perfect time to reflect. So much has happened in 2024:

  • a proposed rule,
  • a final rule,
  • two USDA studies on CACFP,
  • over a dozen pieces of guidance, four bills,
  • and thousands of letters sent to congress.

Most important of all: millions of children and adults across the country have received nutritious meals and snacks!

What you do matters. Take a moment and really think about how your work impacts those that you serve, whether it’s the children or adults in your care, providers that you support, or sponsoring organizations you work with.

Think back on your time operating or supporting the food program. How did you get started? How has it impacted you and those you serve? What motivates you to continue to be a part of the CACFP community?

Hear the stories we have shared from some of your peers. Check out NCA’s Member showcase blog to see what other operators, like yourself, are up to.
