The session will cover accommodating participants with disabilities in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) for State agency staff and frontline staff that interact with program participants.Â
- Understand the specific Civil Rights policy and procedural requirements for CACFP and SFSP program operators and State agencies as they apply to Disability Access and modifications to accommodate disabilities in these Community Meals programs.
- Hear example Meal Modification scenarios, with specified solutions, which address requirements, requests, and procedures representing best practices and possible considerations for issues that CACFP/SFSP program operators could encounter as each modification request must be evaluated individually.
- Meet your annual training requirement with the opportunity to interact directly with FNS Civil Rights subject matter experts.
